  1. Two things I loved about that book - how it is an allegory for any world wide pandemic and how the way each country responds is typical of their political and cultural ethos. I agree, it's a must read!

  2. Absolutely agreed; when I first started reading it, I thought it was just a typical mockumentary kind of book that focused primarily on the fight against the zombies. And then all of a sudden, it turned into a story about how different people -- and peoples -- respond to a crisis of this magnitude and either survive or die out as a result. Fantastic book.
